Most writers have their favorite writing spots.
Some writers love to write in coffeeshops.
Other writers like to write at home in solitude.
Still others are like me and love to write at the beach.
And since I love to write at the beach, my husband and I often take a couple of lawn chairs out to the sand and I sit and write about all sorts of things while he takes photos, looks for boats with his binoculars, and sometimes does a little fishing.
It’s a wonderful life!
I find the ocean so inspiring.
There’s something about the waves crashing to shore that relaxes my mind so that I get all sorts of creative thoughts.
But I Didn’t Always Write By the Sea
For years I wrote books, magazine articles, and all sorts of other materials from my home in Kansas City, Missouri.
There was no beach there.
But I always longed to move to the beach so I could write by the sea.

Is it at your home?
Is it in a noisy coffeeshop or bookstore?
Or do you write at the library?
Please share details of your favorite writing spot in a comment here.
Who knows, you might inspire me, and others, with another great place to write.
Happy writing!
