Listen to the interview here:

Do you know that millions of victims of abuse are struggling to survive, because they live with addicted and pathological gamblers? At the very moment you are reading these words many are being forced into submission. Are you one of the millions? Do you know someone who is?

Ours is a society that has yet to face this tragedy head on. We must talk about it, read about it, and care about it. We must pray and act on it.

We can no longer consider this crisis a private matter if we truly care about each other. Join Kaitee O’Shea as she wipes away the cobwebs, seeks out truth, and helps you gain valuable insights. Let us face each step with courage, dignity, and sound judgment. God help us to be men and women of compassion, to reach out and touch a hurting world.

 | Pathological Gamblers - Kaitee O'Shea - InterviewKaitee O’Shea has devoted her life to advocating for innocent family members of addicted gamblers. A former victim herself, she soon became aware of her ministry as directed by God; a moral obligation to share what she learned with others who desperately need compassion and support. Kaitee has compiled over twelve years of research on the addiction, and the most appropriate approach to victims who are suffering, but are forbidden to speak out. She wrote a column for her city’s widely read newspaper, and was interviewed on PBS and Christian radio.

She is the Founder of Voices for Truth and Dignity, and Truth and Dignity Christian Ministries. The Hope Grant, U.S. Department of Justice was awarded to Voices for Truth and Dignity, Inc. in 2005. Meetings, workshops, and lectures are conducted for survivors, educators, law enforcement, attorneys, physicians, and clergy, small and large groups. In addition to Silent Pleas: Victims of Addicted Gamblers, she also wrote The Four Phase Recovery Program©, which includes Advocate training, manuals and participant workbooks, appropriate for small or large groups. These materials are useful for lay or church groups to study in depth.
