Try these new romance writing prompts for a little creative writing this week.
They may not all seem like romance writing prompts at first glance or first reading, but get creative and see how you can use them to write a romantic story.
1. Casey gasped at the sight of the narrow footbridge with all the people on it. “There’s no way I’m walking on that,” she said.
But he nudged her forward towards the bridge. “Of course you are,” he said.
2. The church was empty, which was good because Alison didn’t like to pray in front of other people and she had some heavy praying to do today.
3. They sat together on the bench outside the registry. In ten minutes they would be married and starting a new life together.
4. “They’re not exactly fireworks,” he told her, “but we can celebrate with these.”
5. She was off on her own in her little red Fiat and she felt free at last.
6. “Don’t be sad, Frankie,” she said to the little French Bull Dog. “He’ll be back.”
7. Jamie had the entire day to herself. What would she do with it? She was already bored to tears.
8. They should never have gone off hiking alone.
9. Stephanie had been a street musician for four years. Will I ever get my big break, she wondered.
10. Lindsey loved living in Paris. It was all she had ever hoped it would be.
