Use the following prompts to get a little creative writing done this week and start a regular writing practice.
Simply choose one or more of the prompts each day to write a new short story, a poem, or even a song.
1. Margaux was ready for her new life in Rome.
2. Ben was the most handsome man Laura had ever met. The trouble was, he didn’t seem to know Margaux was alive and working in the office next to his.
3. Rupert was a spoiled brat, and he knew it.
4. Anna’s reputation was ruined.
5. Every morning Janet’s neighbors let their dog out so he could relieve himself on Janet’s front lawn.
6. Everyone knew that Murdock was the least likely person in the office to get a raise, so when he announced his promotion it created quite a stir.
7. Ellie had to admit it. It wasn’t so much that she loved Evan. She was simply addicted to love itself.
8. Linda had always longed to live by the sea and now she did.
9. Jane refused to cry, even though she realized this would probably be the last time she ever saw Thomas.
10. If James had just gotten out of bed when the alarm rang this morning instead of turning it off and going back to sleep, his life would be totally different now.
