Here are this week’s creative writing prompts, along with some photo prompts.
1. Every night as Hailey started to drift off to sleep, she heard the strange creature in the woods calling. But what was this creature, and who was it calling to?
2. I had traveled over 3,000 miles, and I was almost there. Yet I still had no idea what I would say to him.
3. The marriage was over.
4. Being a hair stylist was better than being a therapist. People told me their deepest, darkest, secrets without even realizing it.
5. I know people think I’m weird. But I like to sit by the edge of the lake and talk to my dog, Hugo. He helps me work out my problems. He really does! And on this particular day I had a BIG problem that I needed Hugo’s help with.
6. As the hurricane approached, we all warned Jonathan about driving in the storm, but he didn’t listen.
7. I wish people would stop telling me how EASY it is to blow dry my hair. It isn’t easy at all!
8. A sign like that HAD to mean they were hiding something, and I was determined to find out what it was.
9. One minute Nathan and I were walking under an umbrella together. The next minute he had vanished.
10. Happily ever after, what a joke!
