Monday’s Prompt: Rewrite Your Narrative

Imagine the story of your life is a book.

As the clock strikes midnight on New Year’s Eve, you’re given the chance to rewrite the first chapter of this year.

What new themes, goals, or adventures will you introduce?

Write the opening scene as vividly as you can.

Tuesday’s Prompt: The Time Capsule Letter

A mysterious letter arrives on New Year’s Day, written by your future self one year from now.

It details the incredible transformation you’ve undergone.

What does it say about who you’ve become, what you’ve accomplished, and how you made it happen?

Wednesday’a Prompt: The Fresh Start Potion

You stumble upon an ancient recipe for a potion that promises a fresh start.

The catch?

To activate its magic, you must add three symbolic items that represent the things you’re ready to let go of.

What are those items, and what happens after you drink it?

Thursday’s Prompt: The Second Chance Clause

You’re offered a magical contract that grants you one opportunity to redo a major decision from the past year.

As you sign, the scene rewinds to that moment.

Write about what you choose to do differently and how it alters your path.

Friday’s Prompt: The Blank Calendar Challenge

Imagine your calendar for the year ahead is completely blank—no commitments, no expectations, just open space.

You have the power to fill it with whatever you want.

What does your dream year look like, and how do you start making it real?

Saturday’s Prompt: The Midnight Stranger

At the stroke of midnight on New Year’s Eve, a stranger knocks on your door.

They claim they’ve been sent to guide you toward your freshest start yet.

Who are they, and what unconventional advice or challenge do they give you?

Sunday’s Prompt: The Fresh Start Festival

Your town hosts an annual Fresh Start Festival on New Year’s Day, where everyone is encouraged to shed their old habits, fears, or doubts.

Write about one character’s experience at the festival—what they release and what they discover in return.
