Many of these actions will also help you if you’re an author and want to build your readership.
This month’s challenge is about guest blogging.
Guest blogging is a great way to drive traffic to your website and blog.
It’s also a great way to build authority within your niche.
In addition it is a way to earn links back to your website from authoritative and relevant websites, which will help to increase your page rank.
Try Guest Blogging to Build Your Business
Follow these steps to accept this month’s writing challenge:
1. Read The Morning Nudge all this week for tips about guest blogging (get your free subscription to The Morning Nudge, below, if you aren’t already a subscriber).
1. Find at least one blog that is relevant for you and the target market you serve. Study the past posts on this site to see if it’s a good fit for your writing style, tone, etc.
2. Check to see if the site has any guidelines for guest posting. If so, follow the guidelines to the letter. Once you get the go-ahead for your guest post idea, write and submit your guest post.
3. Once your guest post has been published, share the link to it with your own social media networks. Note: It might take several weeks or months for your post to be published, so you won’t be able to complete this part of the challenge yet.
4. Leave a comment here to let me know you’ve accepted this month’s challenge. Include the URL to your blog with the comment.
