Brrr!!!! In many parts of the world, winter has arrived in full force.
Use this week’s winter writing prompts to get a little creative writing done while you stay warm and cozy indoors.
1. It was the worse winter storm the area had experienced in 40 years.
2. Outside, the snow kept falling. Jared took a sip of his hot tea and put another log on the fire.
3. Daisy studied the travel brochures. She could hardly wait to get away to sunny skies, sandy beaches, and the beautiful blue ocean!
4. Loralei had plans for the winter. She sighed with satisfaction.
5. “Bah! Humbug! Winter!” Darren hated it with every fiber of his being.
6. Sherry was not about to let her 88-year-old father get outside and shovel snow. But she didn’t really want to do it herself.
7. Quebec was truly a winter wonderland. But how could Wendy describe it adequately in a letter, she wondered.
8. The ski trip was in two weeks. And Kiley couldn’t figure out a way to get out of it, so she’d have to make the best of it.
9. “We’ll be snowed in up here for several days at least,” said Gena. “What in the world are we going to do to entertain ourselves?”
10. The car was buried in snow and it would take hours to shovel the long driveway. But Brian had to get Kira to the hospital right away, so he kept shoveling until…
