For Your Writing Practice
Usually, I like to post new writing prompts for the week here on Sunday.
But since yesterday was Easter Sunday, I didn’t get the week’s prompts posted.
Instead, I enjoyed some creative writing time at the beach.
You might want to use one of these photos as a visual writing prompt to get in a little writing practice today.
If you don’t feel inspired by any of these photo prompts, here are some written prompts to try:
1. Bethany knew the saying, “April showers bring May flowers”, but she was already sick of the rain and it was only April 2nd.
2. On Monday morning, Jayne got in her car and started to work, as usual, but then…
3. It was going to be the trip of a lifetime.
4. Marcy knew one thing for sure. Jack had hit her for the last time.
5. The fire destroyed everything.
6. Janice spotted him from across the crowded room.
7. “Just eat something,” Caitlin’s mother pleaded. “You’re nothing but skin and bones!”
