1. Janice left to go to the restroom. When she came back to their table, Andrew was gone.

4. He put three cups of coffee in front of her. She looked at them and smiled. “I’m impressed. If they taste as good as they look, you’re quite the barista.”
5. They stood in front of the waterfall dressed in yellow slickers. “What do you think is behind there?” he asked her.
6. The snow was starting to fall harder now, but they still had miles to go.
7. He thought they were just having a casual dinner together. But when she took his hand, he knew something was wrong.
8. She saw the panther and felt her knees go weak. She knew why sho many pets in the neighborhood were missing.
9. She would always remember the beautiful fall day when he had simply driven away and never come back.
10. “My goodness,” he said, ‘why do you have so many wooden spoons?”
